Park Jong-Hai ging op elfjarige leeftijd naar de Muziekschool van Yewon en studeerde daarna aan de Seoul Arts High School en in de voorbereidende afdeling van de Korea National University of Arts, waar hij sinds 2004 leerling is van Kang Choong-Mo. Hij was laureaat van verschillende Koreaanse wedstrijden en behaalde ook de Tweede Prijs van de Internationale Pianowedstrijd van Hong Kong en de Internationale Wedstrijd van Nagoya (Japan), evenals een prijs van de Japanse Academie voor Kamermuziek (2008). Vorig jaar werd hij tweede laureaat van de Dublin International Piano Competition. Hij gaf een reeks recitals in Korea (Young Artist Concert Series) en Japan en trad ook op met het Filharmonisch Orkest van Bucheon.

Park Jong-Hai entre à l’âge de 11 ans à l’École de Musique de Yewon, puis à la Seoul Arts High School et dans la section préparatoire de l’Université Nationale des Arts de Corée, où il étudie avec Kang Choong-Mo depuis 2004. Lauréat de plusieurs concours coréens, il remporte également le 2e Prix du Concours International de Piano de Hong Kong et du Concours International de Musique de Nagoya (Japon), ainsi qu’un prix de l’Académie japonaise de Musique de Chambre, en 2008. L’an dernier, il est 2e lauréat du Concours International de Piano de Dublin. Il a donné une série de récitals en Corée (Young Artist Concert Series) et au Japon, et s’est aussi produit avec l’Orchestre philharmonique de Bucheon.

At the age of eleven, Park Jong-Hai entered the Yewon Music School, and later on the Seoul Arts High School, and the preparatory section of the Korea National University of Arts, where he studied with Kang Choong-Mo, starting in 2004. A laureate of numerous Korean competitions, in 2008 he won Second Prize in the Hong Kong International Piano Competition and the Nagoya International Music Competition (Japan), as well as a prize from the Japan Academy of Chamber Music. Last year he won Second Prize in the Dublin International Piano Competition. He has given a series of recitals in Korea (Young Artist Concert Series) and Japan and has also performed with the Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra.
