Kim Da Sol is een leerling van Kim In-Il en van Lim Hong-Phil aan de Hogeschool voor Kunsten van Pusan en sinds 2006 zet hij
zijn opleiding verder aan de Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig bij Gerald Fauth. Als laureaat van talrijke wedstrijden behaalde
hij de Eerste Prijs van de Internationale Wedstrijd van Nagoya in Japan (2005), de Tweede Prijs van de Isang Yunwedstrijd in
Gyeongnam in Korea (2006), de Eerste Prijs van de Internationale Chopinwedstrijd van Azië (2006) en in 2008 de Derde Prijs van
de Internationale Robert Schumannwedstrijd en het concours van Genève. Hij heeft gesoleerd in Leipzig (Gewandhaus), Berlijn
(Konzerthaus), Potsdam (Nikolaisaal), met orkesten zoals het Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, de Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, de
Kammerakademie Potsdam, het Hochschulorchester Leipzig, onder de leiding van onder andere Ulrich Windfuhr en Michael Sanderling.
Kim Da Sol est l’élève de Kim In-Il et de Lim Hong-Phil à la Haute École des Arts de Pusan, et, depuis 2006, il poursuit sa
formation à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Leipzig avec Gerald Fauth. Lauréat de nombreux concours, il a notamment
remporté le 1er Prix du Concours International de Nagoya au Japon (2005), le 2e Prix du Concours Isang Yun de Gyeongnam en
Corée (2006), le 1er Prix du Concours International Chopin d’Asie (2006), et, en 2008, les 3e Prix au Concours International Robert
Schumann et au Concours International de Genève. Il se produit en soliste à Leipzig (Gewandhaus), Berlin (Konzerthaus), Potsdam
(Nikolaisaal), avec des orchestres comme le Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, le Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, le Kammerakademie Potsdam,
le Hochschulorchester Leipzig, sous la direction de chefs comme Ulrich Windfuhr et Michael Sanderling, parmi d’autres.
Kim Da Sol studied under Kim In-Il and Lim Hong-Phil at the Pusan Graduate School of Arts before undertaking further
studies, starting in 2006, at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig with Gerald Fauth. He has won prizes at numerous
competitions, including First Prize in the Nagoya International Competition in Japan (2005), Second Prize at the Isang Yun
Competition in Gyeongnam, Korea (2006), First Prize in the International Chopin Competition in Asia (2006), and Third Prize
at the Robert Schumann International Competition and at the Geneva International Music Competition (both in 2008).
He has given concerts in Leipzig (Gewandhaus), Berlin (Konzerthaus), and Potsdam (Nikolaisaal) and has worked with a number
of orchestras, including the Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester Berlin, the Deutsche Streicherphilharmonie, the Kammerakademie Potsdam, and the
Hochschulorchester Leipzig, under Ulrich Windfuhr and Michael Sanderling, among others.
