André De Groote is laureate of the Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow), the Queen Elisabeth (Brussels), the International ARD Competition (Munich), as well as being recipient of the Harriet Cohen Medal (London). With a repertoire of over fifty concertos, he launched his international soloist career with great orchestras and famous conductors throughout Europe, North and South America, in Africa and in the Near and Far East.

He has recorded the integral solo piano works of Brahms (on CD), as well as having had several performances of the 32 Beethoven sonatas, including at the Beethoven Haus in Bonn, and also soon to appear on the Naxos label.

André De Groot's interest in chamber music has led to collaborations with the violinists Augustin Dumay and Yayoi Toda, the cellist Viviane Spanoghe, the Chilingirian String Quartet, and the Vega and Amadea ensembles.
