Andrejs Osokins is geboren in Rusland, maar vatte zijn muzikale opleiding aan in Letland aan de Muziekacademie van Riga,
in de klas van zijn vader Sergey Osokins. Hij zette zijn studies verder in Londen, eerst aan het Trinity College of Music, daarna aan
de Royal Academy of Music bij Hamish Milne. Hij won verschillende prijzen op wedstrijden in Letland en in Londen en behaalde
zo in 2009 de Derde Prijs van de Internationale Pianowedstrijd van Londen. In zijn twee thuissteden speelde hij recitals
(Wigmore Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, Westminster Cathedral Hall) en concerteerde hij met het London Philharmonic Orchestra en
het Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, onder de leiding van Yuri Simonov.

Andrejs Osokins entame sa formation musicale en Lettonie, à l’Académie de Musique de Riga, dans la classe
de son père, Sergey Osokins, avant de poursuivre ses études à Londres, d’abord au Trinity College of Music, puis à la Royal Academy
of Music, auprès de Hamish Milne. Il a remporté plusieurs prix lors de concours en Lettonie ou à Londres, et a ainsi obtenu
le 3e Prix au Concours International de Piano de Londres, en 2009. Il s’est également produit, dans ses deux villes de résidence,
en récital (Wigmore Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, Westminster Cathedral Hall) ou avec orchestre, et en particulier avec le London
Philharmonic Orchestra et le Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, notamment sous la direction de Yuri Simonov.

Andrejs Osokins began his musical studies in Latvia, at the Riga Academy of Music, in the class given by his
father, Sergey Osokins ; he went on to further studies in London, at Trinity College of Music and later at the Royal Academy
of Music with Hamish Milne. He has won several prizes at competitions in Latvia and London, including Third Prize at the
London International Piano Competition in 2009. He has performed in both of his home cities, in recital (including Wigmore
Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, and Westminster Cathedral Hall) and with orchestras, including the London Philharmonic
and the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, under Yuri Simonov, among others.
