Née à Pusan, en Corée, en 1973, Cho Eun-Hwa a étudié à l’Université Nationale de Séoul, avec Chang Cheng-Ick, puis avec Hanspeter Kyburz à la Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler de Berlin. Les oeuvres de Cho ont été interprétées dans les plus grands festivals à travers le monde, comme le Festival de Musique Contemporaine à Séoul (2002), Ultraschall Festival für neue Musik de Berlin (2003), Festival Acanthes (2003), Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik de Darmstadt (2004), Paxos Spring Music Festival (2006) en Grèce, Music Today 21 (2006) à Tokyo, par des ensembles comme le Quatuor Arditti, le Quatuor Molinari, l’Ensemble Modern, le Tokyo Sinfonietta et l’Ensemble TIMF. Cho Eun-Hwa a été la première lauréate du Hanns-Eisler-Preis (Berlin, 2002) et du Weimarer Frühjahrstage für zeitgenössische Musik (2003), et elle a remporté le Second Prix au Molinari Quartet’s Second International Competition for Composition (2005), ainsi que le Busoni Kompositionspreis (Berlin, Akademie der Künste, 2008). Son oeuvre a fait l’objet d’enregistrements sur CD pour ATMA Classique.
Cho Eun-Hwa werd in 1973 in Pusan (Korea) geboren. Ze studeerde bij Chang Cheng-Ick aan de Seoul National University en bij Hanspeter Kyburz aan de Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler.
