Programme to be prepared by the semi-finalists
Nine works should be proposed, different from those in the first round, from which the jury will choose. There should be at least one aria by Mozart ; two works at most may be by the same composer.
- the compulsory, unpublished Belgian work, written specially for this competition, Canzone by Wim Henderickx ;
- a French song (or a cycle or part of a cycle) ;
- a German lied (or a cycle or part of a cycle) ;
- an opera aria in German ;
- an opera aria in Italian ;
- four works of the candidate’s choice (opera arias, oratorio arias, lieder, or songs).
