Na zijn studies bij Kang Choong-Mo aan de Korea National University of Arts, werkt Kim Tae-Hyung sinds 2008 met Elisso
Virsaladze aan de Hochschule für Musik und Theater van München. Hij is niet alleen eerste laureaat van de Internationale Muziekwedstrijd
van de Stad Porto (2004) en de Internationale Pianowedstrijd ‘Interlaken Classics’ in Bern (2008), maar won ook de
Grand Prix Animato in Parijs (2008). Hij gaf recitals in de Kumho Rising Stars en Hoam Rising Artists concertreeksen in Seoel, evenals in
Parijs (Salle Cortot, Salle Gaveau), Firenze en Leipzig (Gewandhaus). Hij trad op met grote orkesten, zoals het KBS Symphony Orchestra,
het Orchestre National de France, het Symfonisch Orkest van Tokio en het Nationaal Orkest van Porto.
Après avoir étudié auprès de Kang Choong-Mo à l’Université Nationale des Arts de Corée, Kim Tae-Hyung travaille avec
Elisso Virsaladze à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Munich, depuis 2008. Premier lauréat du City of Porto International Music
Competition (2004) et du Concours International de Piano ‘Interlaken Classics’ à Berne (2008), il remporte également le Grand Prix
Animato à Paris (2008). En récital, il se produit dans la série des Concerts ‘Kumho Rising Stars’ et dans la série ‘Hoam Rising
Artist’ à Séoul, ainsi qu’à Paris (Salle Cortot, Salle Gaveau), Florence, Leipzig (Gewandhaus), et joue avec de grands orchestres,
comme le KBS Symphony Orchestra, l’Orchestre National de France, le Symphonique de Tokyo et l’Orchestre National de Porto.
Tae-Hyung Kim started playing the piano when he was 6 years old. Four years later, he won the Grand prize in National Students Music Competition. After studying with Kang Choong-Mo at the Korea National University of Arts, in 2008 he went on to study with Elisso Virsaladze at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. First Laureate of the City of Porto International Piano Competition (2004), in 2008 he won both the Interlaken Classics International Piano Competition in Berne and the Grand Prix Animato in Paris. He has given recitals in the Kumho Rising Stars and Hoam Rising Artist concert series in Seoul and in Paris (Salle Cortot and Salle Gaveau), Florence, and Leipzig (Gewandhaus) and has performed with major orchestras such as the KBS Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National de France, the Tokyo Symphony, and the Porto National Orchestra. He has been invited at the Seoul Spring Festival, Yokohama International Piano Concert, the Florence International Music Festival, the LG Art Center in Seoul and the Euro Music Festival in Leipzig.
