Noah Bendix-Balgley étudie à l’Université d’Indiana auprès de Mauricio Fuks, avant de poursuivre sa formation à la Hochschule für Musik und Theater de Munich, avec Christoph Poppen et Ana Chumachenko. Lauréat de nombreuses compétitions depuis 2001, il s’est entre autres distingué lors de l’American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition (Dallas), avant de remporter le 1er Prix au Concours Andrea Postacchini (Fermo, Italie) en 2007, le 3e Prix au Concours Long-Thibaud (Paris) en 2008 et le 1er Prix au Concours International Vibrarte à Paris. Il s'est présenté en Autriche, Allemagne, France, Belgique, Italie, Chine, Suisse, Grande-Bretagne, Canada et les États Unis, avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), l'Orchestre National de Belgique (Palais des Beaux-Arts, Bruxelles), le Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, l'Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana (Italie), l'Orchester Jakobsplatz Munich et l'Asheville Symphony. En 2011, il a été nommé premier violoniste de l'Orchestre Symphonique de Pittsburgh. La même année il a fait une tournée des États Unis avec le Quatuor Miro. En 2008, il a été invité au Festival Chamber Music Connects the World à Kronberg, Allemagne, ce qui lui a permis de travailler avec Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Gary Hoffman et Lynn Harrell. Il a collaboré avec des artistes comme Ana Chumachenco, Wen-Sinn Yang, Hariolf Schlichtig et le percussioniste Colin Currie.

Hij onderscheidde zich onder andere tijdens de American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition (Dallas) en behaalde in 2007 de Eerste Prijs van de Andrea Postacchiniwedstrijd (Fermo, Italië), in 2008 de Derde Prijs op het Concours Long-Thibaud (Parijs) en de Eerste Prijs van de Internationale Vibrarte Wedstrijd in Parijs. He trad op in Oostenrijk, Duitsland, Frankrijk, België, Italië, Ijsland, China, Zwitserland, Groot-Britannië, Canada en de Verenigde Staten, met het Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (Théâtre du Châtelet, Parijs), het Nationaal Orkest van België (Paleis voor Schone Kunsten, Brussel), het Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, het Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana (Italië), het Orchester Jakobsplatz Munich en de Asheville Symphony (VSA). In 2011 werd hij aangesteld als konzertmeister van het Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Noah Bendix-Balgley is ook een verwoed kamermuzikant. In 2011 deed hij een tournee door de Verenigde Staten met het Miro String Quartet. In 2008 werd hij uitgenodigd op het Festival Chamber Music Connects the World in Kronberg, Duitsland, waar hij mocht samenwerken met Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Gary Hoffman en Lynn Harrell. He has performed in Austria, Germany, France, Belgium, Italy, Iceland, China, Switzerland, Great Britain, Canada and the United States, with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France (Théâtre du Châtelet, Paris), the Orchestre National de Belgique (Palais des Beaux-Arts, Brussels), the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana (Italy), the Orchester Jakobsplatz Munich, and the Asheville Symphony (USA). In 2011, he was named the new concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Noah is a passionate and experienced chamber musician. In 2011, he performed on a North American tour with the Miro String Quartet. In 2008, he was invited to participate in Chamber Music Connects the World in Kronberg, Germany, where he worked and performed with Gidon Kremer, Yuri Bashmet, Gary Hoffman and Lynn Harrell.
